How counselling is delivered

We want you to feel heard and understood and we can achieve that face to face, by Zoom, or on the telephone.

You can choose to stick with one way of counselling, you may want to try a different way or mix and match to fit in with your lifestyle or working hours, and that’s fine by us.

We are here to help you achieve your goals in the method or way that is most comfortable and convenient for you.

"We do not change our clients; they change themselves"

Face to Face

You may feel that seeing your counsellor in person helps you to form a deeper connection and gives you the opportunity to take some time out of your week, away from home or work, to concentrate on yourself.

The journey to and from your session may give you valuable time to yourself to think about what you want to say in your session, and to think about what was talked about after your session.

Our counselling rooms are based in West Molesey and Hampton Hill and are fully accessible. There is plenty of parking on site and bus stops are within a 10 minute walk.

By Zoom

Zoom allows you to access counselling from anywhere and has proved to be just as effective as face to face counselling.

It can be more convenient to fit into your day as you don’t need to factor in travelling time and you can access it from anywhere you have an internet connection.

Some people prefer Zoom as they are more comfortable in their own environment; you just need to find somewhere that is private, so you feel able to talk openly.

We will encourage you to take a few minutes after your session finishes to reflect before leaving your private space, so you have time to think about what was talked about in your session.

By Phone

As with Zoom, counselling by telephone is convenient and may be easier to fit into your daily life as you can access it from anywhere, just as long as you can find a private space where you feel comfortable to talk, cannot be overheard and you have good reception.

There are many advantages of experiencing counselling in this way:

We can offer more flexibility for appointment times, and fit in with your work and other commitments more easily.

Telephone counselling has been shown to be as effective as face to face counselling.
