Judith Pearmain

Judith is an Accredited Psychotherapist specialising in adult and adolescence counselling, and is fully insured as a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (bacp.co.uk)
She offers counselling in person, via Zoom or on the telephone to allow clients easier access to fit sessions into their busy lives. Her wide-ranging experience includes working in depth with male and female clients who have experienced anxiety, depression, bereavement, childhood trauma, child loss, relationship difficulties and that feeling of not being good enough.
She has counselled women prisoners through the charity Choice 4 Change, working with them on anger issues, making sense of their trauma experiences and addictions. She also works with young people in secondary schools, who are experiencing anxiety related problems, depression, eating disorders, identity crisis and other mental health challenges in their lives.

Judith trained as an Integrative counsellor and will incorporate different styles and techniques of counselling to find the best way to work with you.
She is theory informed but is very much a counsellor who listens with awareness to hear what you are saying and what you are not saying but want her to hear.

Judith is a recognised provider for AXA, AVIVA HEALTH, BUPA and VITALITY HEALTH

"For me, it's important to hear what my clients are saying but more important is to understand what they're not saying"
